Snow, we have lots and lots of snow, the cat that just visits from time to time as moved in, (she doesn’t belong to anyone, she is one of those cats that just goes to be fed wherever she can get food), and the birds are emptying the feeders faster than I can fill them, and yesterday I saw a coal tit in the garden, that’s the first time one of those has visited. I love watching the birds on the feeders.
We have been watching a very interesting programme on the BBC called Turn Back Time. The High street, in which shop keepers have to spend a week in a set time period, living and selling as in that time. Some of the things have surprised us and some make me long for the days of good service.

Here’s some funny Christmas jokes, just for a laugh.
Your Christmas is Classic |
Your wish for the New Year is good health. For you, Christmas is secular holiday. Religion doesn’t play a big part in it.You are patient when it comes to Christmas. You don’t celebrate too early, and you don’t like seeing holiday decorations in October. You like to have an authentic, traditional Christmas. Doing it the old fashioned way is important to you.You like to celebrate Christmas your own way, and you don’t like to have to compromise. You enjoy Christmas more than anyone you know. Some might call it an obsession! You like giving to your friends and family during Christmas. You focus on the people you’re close to. |
“Love is what’s in the room with you at Christmas if you stop opening presents and listen.”

Sounds like you have good attitude. I don’t about the weather. I am not looking forward to any more snow here.
Hello Slamdunk and weclome.
I have just been over to your site, love Sissy already
Hi lom, Firstly Love yer header, secondly love yer wee video of the cartoons – HILARIOUS ! Lastly, I have seen the prog about shopkeepers going back in time advertised but hadn’t seen it on TV … I watched the first wee bit here and I’ll return to watch the whole lot later …
Thanks, what are you going to name yer adopted cat ??
Hi Kate,
We have always called the cat kitten, because that’s what she was the first time she wandered in and made herself at home on top of a cupboard.
Enjoy the prog. It’s the last one next week.
No snow here but the plow is ready just in case. I’m going camping tomorrow and I’m going camping over christmas. None of my friends get sucked up in all that silly christmas crap.
